Pyrex Flameware Double Boiler 6283 1-1/2" QT
Vintage Pyrex double boiler 1-1/2" QT has three pieces – lower pot, upper pot, and lid. Each lower and upper pots have handles. Shows signs of use but overall I would rate this as very good condition. The upper pot's metal band is excellent. The lower pot's metal band shows a few worn places, small rust spots. The glass on the entire double boiler set is without chips or cracks. Nice and smooth. Some stove marks on bottom; nothing noticeable but just maybe very slightly cloudy. Nothing you would notice immediately. What I'm trying to say is, it appears it had been very gently used in its lifetime.
Both handles are in excellent condition. Please see the photos for all details.
The whole set is pretty heavy – @ 4 lbs 1 oz.

Beautiful and useful! Think cream sauces, puddings, and and heating up leftovers the way our grandparents did.
I ship fast and am an excellent packer. If you have experience with Pyrex and don't mind the handles and metal rims disassembled for BEST shipping, I'll do that. If you want everything intact, I will leave it so. It's very easy to reassemble, if you haven't done that before.
