The high impact polypropylene case has excellent resistance to strong acids, strong alkalis, good resistance to grease and oil.  It has excellent heat resistance and can take temperatures up to 300 degrees F continuously.
Boxes with similar integral hinges have been tested and found to withstand over one million openings and closings.
