The
Tektronix DM502A
is a 3 1/2 digit DMM. This multimeter measures six functions with push button convenience. Autoranging, in all modes except current, makes it exceptionally easy to use without having to select ranges. The instrument measures dc and ac voltage, dc and ac current, dB, and resistance. It provides true RMS measurements in all AC modes, which provides more accuracy with distorted, noisy or other non-sinusoidal ac waveforms. The resistance mode also offers Hi-Lo voltage (2v to 0.2v) modes. Reach out to Select-Test.com for further assistance. This user-selectable feature allows in-circuit ohms measurements without turning on diode or transistor junctions. The high-voltage mode allows you to test semiconductor junctions for forward and reverse resistances. The unit offers a 0.1% dc accuracy and overall accuracy is better than that on this unit. The DMM 502A Digital Multimeter measured dc and ac voltage and current, dBm, dBV, resistance, and temperature. The ac functions are true RMS responding. The ranges for dc voltage, ac voltage, dBm, dBV, and resistance are automatically or manually selected as desired. The current and temperature ranges are manually selected. The readout is a 3 ½ digit display using seven segment LED. The decimal point is automatically positioned depending on the operating range of the instrument. Polarity is indication is automatic.

Tektronix RG 501
Ramp Generator produces an adjustable 10 V ramp, either positive-going or negative-going, with selectable and variable durations from 10 s to 10 μs. A TTL-compatible gate signal coincident with the ramp duration is provided at the front panel. The RG 501 has a full set of oscilloscope-type triggering controls providing normal or automatic triggering, slope and level selection, and triggers from three sources: line, internal, or external via a front panel BNC connector. Universal Counter offers counting to 100 MHz and provides the versatility of six measurement functions: frequency, period, ratio, time A to B, time manual, and totalize. The two channels (A and B) have individual BNC inputs and separate trigger level, attenuator, and coupling mode controls. Seven-digit readout is via seven-segment light emitting diodes (LEDs) with automatically positioned decimal point; leading zeros (to the left of the most significant digit or decimal point) are blanked. A flashing display indicates register overflow. The DC 503 offers high performance in a variety of applications. Its interval measurement capability with selectable clock rates is useful for digital equipment design and maintenance, particularly digital control and data communications work. High resolution measurements of low frequencies are available quickly in the period mode with averaging up to 1 million periods available.
