TWIN TRIODE AMPLIFIER TUBES
TV-7/U TEST STRONG.
Up for sale is a set of three assorted brands of 6FQ7/6CG7 twin triode amplifier tubes.
Tube 1 on the left is a NOS/NIB General Electric.
Tube 2 in the center is branded for Silvertone and made by Sylvania.
Tube 3 on the right is from RCA.
They were tested for transconductance (Gm), noise, gas, and shorts on my Dan Nelson calibrated TV-7/U tube tester.
For the 6CG7/6FQ7 to be considered "new" a TV-7/U reading of 104 (Gm=2600) on each plate is needed.  The TV-7/U recommended minimum value (65%) for each plate is 50 (Gm=1250).
