    Description

Here is a rare January 1966 NEBRASKAland magazine put out by the Nebraska State Game, Forestation and Parks Commission. It cost 50 cents at the time. The magazine has 60 pages including the covers and measures 8.5" x 11".
This issue is unique in that it usually focused on hunting, fishing and outdoor activities, but this issue has a color picture of Fred Duda, the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers football team getting ready to throw a pass against the Kansas Jayhawks football team. Then the first 1.5 pages has a short article on the football team and a black & white picture of head coach Bob Devaney and assistant coach Tom Osborne talking to part of the team at a practice.
