".
The design of the coins of this series is based on a combination of the naturalistic and stencil appearance of the depicted animal with an allegorical presentation in the "Saka animal style".
The eagle owl in many cultures is a symbol of wisdom, knowledge, hidden
opportunities and unique vision. The nomads revered the owl as a sacred bird. This is due to the understanding of the role of the owl as a bird capable of protecting people from evil spirits, with a totem symbolizing wisdom.
The coins are made of silver using gilding technology and
a diamond insert
. The coins have identical images of the obverse and reverse sides.
On the obverse
(obverse) of the coins, framed by the national ornament, there are the year of minting, the denomination, the trademark of the Kazakhstan Mint and an inscription indicating the metal from which the coin is made, its standard and weight. Along the circumference of the coin, the inscription “QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY • REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN”.
