This tube is used in series with the primary of suitably designed transformer to maintain essentially constant input voltage to the primary over a range of line variation of 20 volts. It was designed to operate on a sixty cycle mains voltage power supply.
1,7A; 40...60V. Not a UV socket! Correct name is just 876. The tube has not been tested. These 876 tubes are (NOS) New Old Stock. The tube boxes may have light soiling, small tears and tape residue from being in storage for a long period of time.
