We try to cut all straps 8 feet, but sometimes the cow was not quite that long.
This cinch strap is made of top quality U.S. vegetable tanned 11-12 ounce leather, strong
but still flexible
enough to use from the beginning. It is made to tie or to buckle
.
1 1/2 inches wide and most are 96 inches long. All are 7 feet and over.  We try for 8 feet on all of them, but their length is sometimes limited a few inches by the size of the hide from which they were cut. Thus far, the straps have all been adequate for those who use them on saddles with a 3-way connection
