Please note: These tubes may be NOS or test NOS but will actually have a few hours of use from manufacturer or due from testing through time to time on them. A truly NOS tube will have excellent getter flashing condition, no dirt/grime, usually in the original box, and no filament deposits and has never been tested.
Please expect the tube to have a small amount of used

Since vacuum tubes were made 30 – 70 years ago New Old Stock or Used may have cosmetic evidence of age.  This includes poor print, oxidized pins, faint discoloration, or poorly boxes
All tubes will be retested before shipping.
On a mutual conductance tester=GM
Either on Hickok models 6000/A,539C,752A,800,VT-7D/U, triplett 3444
or a B&K 700,747
1. Complete visual inspection
2. Allow 1 minute warm up time
3. Test for actual real-life mutual conductance (life) of the tube (including any shorts,gas and leakage)
4. Test for proper gain of the tube (perhaps the single most important test of a preamp tube
5. Test for noise -both in static and dynamic situations
6. Repeat all tests for
accuracy on other tester
If some prove defective during testing, and we are unable to provide a substitute acceptable to buyer, an immediate no hassle refund will be issued.
