1978 Jeep J10

Description

1978 Jeep J10. long bed pickup, AMC 360 with offenhouser intake qudrajet spread bore carburator, double roller timing chain and gears, preformance compcam (RV), dual exhaust. Transmission is a GM th400.dana axles. Engine and transmission was rebuilt before I bought the truck. Disk front brakes. 4in lift with 35in tires. Ex navy truck ordered with 3/4 ton running gear (8 lug axles) I was in the process of doing the interior but couldn't finish due to illness, truck has been setting for 5+years will need to be gone thru before running and the interior needs to be finished. I have a new glove box (very hard to find) also bought a bench seat from a Jeep Wagoneer that needs to be reupholstered. Front grill needs some repair and reassyembled. I buffed out the one side of the bed a few months ago and with a little work the whole truck could be buffed out and looking good. This is a good project a solid truck as there isn't any rust and no major dents. These are almost impossible to find in this condition, restore or do a resto mod.
