    Description

    This is a brand new reproduction printed circuit to Ford Gran Torino and Ranchero models with a standard(non-tach) instrument cluster produced from late 1976 to 1979. It is a reproduction of the OEM part D9SF 10C956. It replaces the following parts:
    D6OF 10C956 as fitted to late '76 vehicles incl last of Torino.
    D7SF 10C956 as fitted to '77 to some '79 vehicles without the alternator resistor on the printed circuit.
    D9SF 10C956 as fitted to '79 vehicles with the alternator resistor fitted to the printed circuit.
    These are manufactured in New Zealand.  You may wonder why New Zealand, that is because that is where I am based, I first produced the reproduction artwork for the printed circuit in my car, a 1970s Australian Ford Falcon which has a similar type of printed circuit.  I then went on to produce circuits for all of the Aussie Fords and having gained an enormous amount of satisfaction by enabling others to get their instrument clusters working 100% I have expanded the range some American Fords. Stock is held by a fellow Ford enthusiast who takes care of distribution and is based in Florida.
    Unlike the original Mylar substrate which is prone to de-laminating these are produced from very thin (0.15mm) fibreglass.  The copper is bonded to the fibreglass substrate much better than the original. The fibreglass is of course less flexible than the original but still fits the frame nicely and is flexible enough to make good contact with the harness plug. To make them I scanned an original at high resolution and then hand traced every curve in great detail  The curved shapes were taken into Printed Circuit Board design software, all together it took over 30 hours.  I had a prototype produced before tweaking the final design which fits the dash frame perfectly.  It has been a labour of love, to produce a reproduction part that fits perfectly out out performs the original!
    The vehicle compatibility feature within eBay does not make it possible to accurately outline which vehicles these fit.  The best way to identify which circuit you need is to read the part number of the circuit you currently have or get in touch if you have concerns.
